The event passed without incident from start to finish. By working with Ian and his staff the zipwire was installed across the pitch with no impact, as was the derigging after the event. Impact on the pitch overall was non-existent over the course of the weekend and on that basis I would be happy to work with Zip Slides UK again in the future.

Just dropping you a quick message to say a HUGE THANK YOU for Sunday’s Zip Slide.
Everyone agreed that it was fabulous event and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Our sincere thanks go to you and your team for making what could have been a terrifying event, into a fun event!
We felt very safe and secure in the hands of your experienced team members.
We won’t hesitate in booking an event with you again

I have had some really positive feedback from a man who is a school teacher and a kayak instructor and who has organised lots of outdoor events – he said your organisation was superb and every box was ticked. He also said that your staff were great and he felt totally safe and secure that they were well trained, knew exactly what they were doing and their interaction with the more nervous participants was great to see

The guys from zip slides were fantastic. They were good fun and made everybody feel relaxed.
We didn't at all feel rushed, they were very approachable, and explained everything brilliantly.
My brother in Law is extremely scared of heights, and he commented on how they made him feel at ease and encouraged him without putting any pressure on him.
They really are a great team who made the event even more enjoyable

Just wanted to say thanks so much to you and your team for a great day yesterday. All ten of our After Adoption team of zip sliders really enjoyed it, despite the weather, and the buzz in the office this morning has been great!
The money is still coming in but currently we have raised £1800, which we are really pleased with, totally smashed our target of £500. This will be funding our work with children and adults affected by adoption in Manchester. It is the first zip slide we have done, and its been such a success I hope we will be able to plan them into our fundraising each year!
I’m really pleased with how straightforward it was to get everyone registered, and also the process on the day, your team made it run so smoothly and were really efficient. They were so friendly as well, which put everyone at ease – really important when for some there are considerable nerves about the challenge!
Many thanks again Ian and I hope I’ll be in touch again soon

I just wanted to write and say a huge thank you to you and everyone at Zip Slides UK for running our Zip Slide Event. As you know, the event took place on Saturday, and was a fantastic day. Feedback from those who took part and from spectators was very positive, with many commenting on the atmosphere and the excellent organisation.
Your kind help in making the event a success for the small number we had means that the money raised in sponsorship by the participants can go straight towards the running costs of the hospice, which is now open on Goscote Lane.
Thank you so much for your support.

I just wanted to say thanks for everything this weekend, the team were great and I am really looking forward to working with you all again at Baltic. Everything went so smoothly and I couldn’t have asked for it to go better. The feedback from the participants was very complimentary to you and your team. Please pass this on to them!

I can only echo Mel’s compliments to you and your team … as our first ever Zip Wire (and not the easiest), it was great to have a professional team who were able to offer guidance and support to help make the weekend such a success.
Most importantly the money raised/pledged is a fantastic £48,804.82 in sponsorship with a further £584.96 in general donations taking the grand total to £50,389.78 … absolutely brilliant!

l would like to thank you and your team for their professionalism, pre, during and post event. They put all participants at ease with their caring approach. The set up and de rig for this event was flawless, and the event documentation was spot on.
We have held many events at the stadium since it opened in 2002, including high profile concerts, and l have to say, the zip event stands alongside those in the way it was organised. Thanks you once again

Thanks to you and all your staff yesterday! We were very happy with the service we received.
It was great to see all your guys with a smile on their face and conducting themselves very efficiently and professionally, it certainly made the day run very smoothly. We have received some excellent feedback from our 'Zippers' all commenting on how much they enjoyed it!
At the moment the net total raised that I can account for stands at £23k! Obviously we are thrilled with that!!
However it could still rise as and when people get extra donations.

Just wanted to say a big thank-you too you and your team for another flawless zip. We've had some great feedback from participants and supporters who thoroughly enjoyed the event and thought you guys were fantastic.
I would like to thank you and your team for encouraging and supporting our participants and for the courteous and professional way you ran your side of the event. Speaking first hand everyone was great!!!! Financially speaking the event was good for us and we had £19,500 pledged on the day in sponsorship so hopefully with gift aid this could rise to nearly £25,000.
Zip Slides UK (formerly ACE) has helped Marie Curie Cancer Care to host many exciting and often brand new fundraising zip slides. The help and support we have received from Ian has been incredible and his wealth of experience, impeccable safety record and high standards of service has helped to ensure that our reputation as one of the UKs leading adrenaline charities is maintained.
In my experience Zip Slides UK provide a full and comprehensive service and are there to offer advice and support every step of the way, from the earliest stages of event planning right through to the event itself. Crucially, Ian understands the needs and priorities of the charity sector and this is something that sets Zip Slides UK apart from so many other companies out there.
We have done several events with Ian over the years and can honestly say he is the best in the business. He was on hand to answer any questions and provide advice on how to make our events even better. Its refreshing to find a company that go above and beyond and that take their role so seriously and will do all they can to help and provide fantastic customer service. I would not hesitate to recommend working with Ian Weeks and his team on any Zip Slide Event. They are the best there is.
