New Website and online booking system launched
During the past 10 weeks we’ve been working with a web developer to overhaul our website, including a new look and online booking system. We are pleased to say that when you receive this news the website will be live and we look forward to your comments. With any new system there are sure to be small issues, so if you spot any mistakes or functionality issues, we will be very grateful for your comments.
Charities who decide to promote our full series of events will be able to simply direct participants to the ZSUK website. These participants will be treated like individuals and booked accordingly. The charity will receive an email from ZSUK confirming the booking with the individuals’ details.
Once charities have block-booked onto events, they will be able to view their booking and access all the relevant documents, including event information, safety documents, ZSUK Insurance, and useful templates, including booking form and medical statement by logging back into My Bookings.
Event Series 2012 Launched
You’ll find our 2012 series of events on the new website. At this stage we have 8 events confirmed, but have a few more in the pipeline which we hope to add shortly.
Summary of our Oct/Sept Event Season
During September and October we added 9 more successful events to our event history whilst maintaining our 100% safety record. These events saw us working across the country from Glasgow to London and zipping in excess of 1500 participants - raising well over £150,000 IN THE PROCESS! Even in these difficult times people are remaining generous and getting into the spirit of things. We thought we’d show you some of the best fancy dress from the past few months.

Event Report - May 2011

Zip Slides UK has had a busy few weeks with 4 events across the country. We had our first crane zip at Ashton Court in Bristol on the 30th April 2011 and then we travelled up to Everton FC to deliver a full event with 180 people raising money for the Everton Foundation.
The following weekend saw two further football club zips, St Giles Walsall Hospice had an event at Walsall FC and then the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind and the Spinal Injuries Association shared an event at Sheffield United FC.
We had some fantastic fancy dress at Sheffield, one of the best we have ever seen was a person dressed as a car! See the attached picture.

Event Report - BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art
Zip Slides UK has been the technical partner for BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in Gateshead for 3 years now and over this period delivered 3 successful events. On the 19th & 20th March 2011 working on behalf of The Stroke Association we took this event to another level. During the weekend we ran parallel wires which allowed us to zip just over 700 people and for the charity to raise in excess of £100,000. A wonderful achievement for everyone involved
